On Sunday, the San Antonio Spurs<\/a> will host the Denver Nuggets<\/a> in Texas.<\/p>\n

The Spurs are coming off a 139-120 win over the Dallas Mavericks<\/a> (also at home).<\/p>\n

Victor Wembanyama<\/a> exploded for 40 points, 13 rebounds, five assists, one steal and two blocks while shooting 14\/23 from the field and 2\/7 from three-point range in 26 minutes of playing time.<\/p>\n

For Sunday\u2019s game, the Spurs have announced that Wembanyama is being listed as questionable on the injury report.<\/p>\n

Stephen Michael of Pounding the Rock wrote:<\/a> \u201cThe Spurs say Victor Wembanyama (rib), Devin Vassell<\/a> (rib), and Stephon Castle<\/a> (foot) are QUESTIONABLE for tomorrow\u2019s game against Denver. Luke Kornet<\/a> (shoulder) is OUT.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wembanyama is in his third NBA<\/a> season (all with the Spurs).<\/p>\n

The superstar center is averaging 25.0 points, 11.5 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.0 steals and 3.1 blocks per contest while shooting 51.2% from the field and 34.9% from three-point range in 64 games.<\/p>\n

The Spurs are the second seed in the Western Conference with a 62-19 record in 81 games.<\/p>\n

They are in the middle of a three-game winning streak (and have won nine out of ten).<\/p>\n

At home, the Spurs are 32-7 in 39 games.<\/p>\n

The Spurs last made the NBA playoffs in 2019 when LaMarcus Aldridge<\/a> was still on the roster.<\/p>\n

That said, they will be one of the teams with a real chance to make the 2026 NBA Finals.<\/p>\n
