The Big 12 Championship rings were unveiled after 18 Red Raiders and head coach <a href=\"https:\/\/texastech.com\/sports\/football\/roster\/coaches\/joey-mcguire\/4291\" rel=\"smarttag nofollow noopener\" rev=\"4291\" target=\"_blank\">Joey McGuire<\/a> were all presented letter jackets by Texas Tech&#8217;s group of letterwinners that were in attendance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>For McGuire, it was a surprise presentation of his letter jacket, beginning with a video from the great Rodney Allison and commencing with a standing ovation from his team and the letterwinenrs in attendance. McGuire was promised a letter jacket upon his arrival at Texas Tech for when the Red Raiders win the Big 12 title.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony ended with a surprise announcement the Red Raiders would be then receiving their Big 12 Championship rings.
