We have also seen\u00a0Gazans starved, Iranian children killed, and U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents deporting families to meet quotas, killing protesters and suppressing opposition.<\/p>\n
Democracy depends on shared respect for each other and honoring the law. When we tolerate its violation against others, we\u2019ll find its violation against ourselves.<\/p>\n
Call, write and remind politicians of their oath. There\u2019s a longer-term downfall for the U.S. as it loses respect worldwide.
