After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Plano, McKinney Boyd<\/a> was happy to have turned things around on Friday. Everything went their way against the McKinney Lions<\/a> as they made off with a 13-2 win. The victory continues a trend for the Broncos in their matchups with the Lions: they’ve now won four in a row.<\/p>\n

McKinney Boyd got a great performance from Keegan Hines<\/a> as she didn’t allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit over five innings pitched.<\/p>\n

At the plate, McKinney Boyd let Brayden Smith<\/a> and Josie Knight<\/a> run wild. Smith went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one triple, while Knight got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Those three runs gave Knight a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckham Manley<\/a>, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.<\/p>\n
