A mother arrested in Tarrant County<\/a> for allegedly lying about her son’s medical conditions<\/a> to get a feeding tube surgically placed was arrested again, only a week after bonding out of jail.<\/p>\n Kaitlyn Laura, of Glen Rose, was arrested Wednesday and accused by Tarrant County deputies of violating her bond conditions by being in contact with her children and their father.\u00a0<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n The 31-year-old mother was initially arrested in March on a charge of serious bodily injury to a child after allegedly falsifying her son\u2019s medical history to hospitals, according to her arrest warrant affidavit. Deputies accused Laura of lying to medical professionals in Tarrant and Dallas counties\u00a0in order to get her 3-year-old son an unneeded feeding tube.\u00a0<\/p>\n For the majority of the child\u2019s life, Laura claimed the boy had a list of illnesses, could not eat solid foods and was made to use a wheelchair by his mother, according to the affidavit.<\/p>\n Suspected abuse was reported to Child Protective Services three times before the child was taken away in February and placed in foster care, deputies said in the affidavit. During their phone calls, the two talked about getting a burner phone, and a child was also heard saying “hi mommy, I miss you” to Laura, according to her affidavit.<\/p>\n During another phone call, the children’s father said that he had spoken to Laura’s attorney, who informed him that they could not have any contact until the bond conditions was lifted. In her affidavit, deputies also accused the father of her children of acknowledging the two were supposed to be following no contact orders, yet still “conspired to and then lied about the violations of those conditions.”<\/p>\n Due to the conditions not being placed on the father, he has not been arrested and is not\u00a0facing criminal charges at this time, a spokesperson with the\u00a0Tarrant County sheriff’s office said.
