This one was surprising even for me. El Paso foodies seem to agree it’s always a must-have when visiting; and one of the best things about this shocking menu item is that it’s only $1.87.<\/p>\n Chico’s Tacos receipt<\/p>\n Joanna Barba<\/p>\n With inflation and the obvious price increases at Chico’s Tacos, $1.87 doesn’t seem so bad- especially when the grilled cheese is delicious.<\/p>\n Many say that the magic behind the grilled cheese is actually mayonnaise! Instead of butter- Chico’s uses mayo. Although I can’t actually confirm that, I’m inclined to believe everyone who has told me that because there really is something unique about their grilled cheese! Or maybe it’s just the fact that someone else has made this childhood favorite. Food is always good when someone else makes it for you!<\/p>\n You can order the grilled cheese on the side and dip away at the sauce from your tacos; many say this is the El Paso version of a grilled cheese with tomato soup!
