This list is not comprehensive.<\/p>\n<p>Upcoming projects:<\/p>\n<p>1. G Avenue paving and water improvements<\/p>\n<p>Project: Crews will replace a waterline and pavement on G Avenue between 14th and 15th streets. Improvements will also add on-street parking, enhance sidewalks and update traffic signals.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Construction is scheduled to start July 30 and wrap up in mid-December.<\/p>\n<p>Timeline: July\u2013December 2026Cost: $374,800Funding source: city of PlanoOngoing projects:<\/p>\n<p>2. Custer Road<\/p>\n<p>Project: The North Texas Municipal Water District is currently working to replace an aging pipeline along Custer Road.<\/p>\n<p>Update: According to a city news release, 4,900 feet of the 9,100-foot pipeline have been installed. Permanent paving at West 15th Street and Pitman Drive will be scheduled pending water testing.<\/p>\n<p>Timeline: February 2025-October 2026Cost: $18 millionFunding source: North Texas Municipal Water District3. 15th Street paving and waterline reconstruction<\/p>\n<p>Project:<\/p>\n<p> The project involves the removal and replacement of pavement, sidewalks and water lines along 15th Street from Municipal Avenue to Jupiter Road.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Traffic lane widths are reduced to allow for utility installation from Municipal Avenue to P Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>Timeline: August 2025-March 2027Cost: $6.94 millionFunding source: city of Plano4. Custer Road asphalt overlay<\/p>\n<p>Project:<\/p>\n<p> Crews are working on arterial concrete repairs in preparation for an asphalt overlay.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Arterial concrete repairs on Custer Road from Hedgcoxe Road to Spring Creek Parkway are underway.<\/p>\n<p>Timeline: August 2025-October 2026Cost: $1.63 millionFunding source: city of Plano5. Coit Road asphalt overlay<\/p>\n<p>Project: <\/p>\n<p>Crews are working on arterial concrete repairs in preparation for an asphalt overlay.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Arterial concrete repairs on Coit Road from President George Bush Turnpike to Parker Road are underway.<\/p>\n<p>Timeline: July 2025-July 2026Cost: $1.61 millionFunding source: city of Plano6. Plano Parkway sewer improvements<\/p>\n<p>Project:<\/p>\n<p> Plano is working to make sewer improvements along Plano Parkway to increase sewer capacity for current and future development in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Update: Several lanes along Plano Parkway will see closures as construction continues.<\/p>\n<p>Timeline: July 2025-spring 2027Cost: $16.1 millionFunding source: city of Plano7.
