If you\u2019re looking for a great time in Lubbock that also gives back in a big way, mark your calendar, because one of the city\u2019s most impactful annual events is back!<\/p>\n

SERVPRO of Southwest Lubbock<\/a> is gearing up for the 21st Annual Golf for Kids\u2019 Sake Kickoff Concert and Tournament<\/a>, all benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters of Lubbock<\/a>. And as always, this is more than just a party or a round of golf, it\u2019s about making a real difference for kids right here at home.<\/p>\n

The kickoff concert happens this Friday, April 17th at the SERVPRO headquarters in Lubbock. It\u2019s a BYOB event, doors open at 6pm, and it\u2019s shaping up to be a fun night with live music from the award-winning Spur 327 Band<\/a>. You\u2019ll also find a live auction, raffles, and a BBQ dinner courtesy of Smokin\u2019 Raider Tailgaters. Tickets are $50, or grab a table for your crew. And yes, I\u2019ll be there emceeing the whole thing!<\/p>\n

Then, on Friday, May 1st, it\u2019s time to hit the course at LakeRidge Country Club<\/a> for the golf tournament. There are morning and afternoon flights, with breakfast and lunch included. Whether you\u2019re a serious golfer or just out for a good cause and a good time, this event delivers.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s the part that really matters: 100% of the proceeds stay right here in Lubbock to support one-to-one mentoring for kids in our community. The goal this year is to raise $100,000 — and with your help, that\u2019s absolutely within reach.<\/p>\n

This event has already raised more than $750,000 since it started back in 2006. That\u2019s a lot of lives impacted, and a lot of futures changed.<\/p>\n
