Dallas is one of the nine stores that are set to close over the next two-plus years, as was earlier reported in the Business of Fashion.<\/p>\n<p>The New York-based company\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/business\/retail\/2024\/05\/10\/glossier-is-the-next-beauty-brand-to-open-in-northpark-center\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">opened in 2024 in Dallas<\/a> in a corner spot at the shopping center \u2014 and is the only store in Texas. Glossier, which has about a dozen physical shops, also has online shopping options.<\/p>\n<p>Glossier launched in 2014 as a direct-to-consumer beauty brand to a new generation of digitally native consumers. The business catapulted on social media and gathered fans before it arrived in North Texas.<\/p>\n<p>Its lineup of products includes skin care, makeup and fragrances.<\/p>\n<p>Some retailers, amid shifting tastes and new shopping methods, have come under pressure as they look to draw in customers to their physical sites. In January, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/business\/retail\/2026\/01\/14\/saks-files-chapter-11-bankruptcy-ousts-ceo-as-it-turns-to-ex-neiman-chief-for-leadership\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Saks Global, which includes Neiman Marcus, filed for bankruptcy<\/a> and later announced store closures.
