CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 A local church is inviting the community to come together for a day of food, music, and family fun while supporting youth programs.<\/p>\n
The Life Teen Spring Festival will raise money to help teens at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church attends a summer conference and participates in faith-based activities.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe foster and help the youth of our parish,\u201d said Youth Minister Daniela Garcia. \u201cRight now we are focused on assisting the high school youth.\u201d<\/p>\n
Garcia said the program offers fellowship, worship, retreats and conferences designed to help teens grow in their faith.<\/p>\n
Festival proceeds will go directly back to the teens, helping cover travel costs and ease the financial burden on families.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe will have music, fellowship, fun, kids zones\u2026 all those things to help raise funds,\u201d Garcia said, adding the church is currently supporting about 30 teens.<\/p>\n
The event will feature live entertainment, including Ruben Salazar y Lasso and La DiferenZia, along with a DJ and activities for all ages.<\/p>\n
The festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 18, from noon to 6 p.m., with live music at the parish hall located at 3210 SPID. No outside coolers are allowed.<\/p>\n
