De Jesus\/Houston Chronicle via Getty Images) <\/p>\n What we know:<\/p>\n On Sunday, The Guardian reported that Texas recently secured approval for a new site in London, which will be led by James Taylor<\/a>, a partner of a lobbying and public relations firm<\/a> based in Austin. (Photo Illustration <\/p>\n Local perspective:<\/p>\n Governor Abbott and the State of Texas\u2019 international business ambition seemingly caught the attention of the City of London Corporation.\u00a0<\/p>\n In late February 2026, London\u2019s Lady Mayor, Susan Langley, traveled to Dallas to discuss how London could tap into the state\u2019s first dedicated stock market, the Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE).
