See coverage and results.<\/p>\n<p>Byron Nelson sets school record in win over L.D. Bell<\/p>\n<p>Meredith Hambric tossed a 3-hitter and struck out 15 to lead Trophy Club Byron Nelson past Hurst L.D. Bell 6-0 in a District 4-6A game on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>The Bobcats picked up their 29th win of the season, setting a new single season record. Byron Nelson is 29-3-1 overall and clinched at least a share of the district title at 13-2. Additionally, Nelson head coach Dani Hadnot recorded her 100th career win.<\/p>\n<p>Kaylee Vien\u2019s RBI single started the scoring in the first inning. She added an RBI sacrifice fly to right in the fourth that made it 2-0. Elle Dearing added RBI singles in the sixth and seventh innings.<\/p>\n<p>Gabby Cuellar hit an RBI triple to drive in McKenna Cleary in the seventh that extended the lead to 5-0. L.D. Bell fell to 4-20-1 overall and 1-14 in district play.<\/p>\n<p>Legacy homer dooms Lake Ridge<\/p>\n<p>Shayla Gonzalez broke open a 1-1 tie with a 3-run home run in the top of the seventh inning and Mansfield Legacy hung on to beat Mansfield Lake Ridge 4-3 in a District 3-6A showdown on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>Legacy (19-11 overall, 10-2 district) completed its district slate with the win. Lake Ridge (17-13-1, 9-2) falls into a tie for second alongside Fort Worth Boswell, which beat Weatherford on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>Gonzalez\u2019s RBI single gave the Broncos a 1-0 lead in the third, but the Eagles tied it in the fourth with a solo home run by Zoey Pratt.<\/p>\n<p>Kaylyn Marstaller drew a 1-out walk in the Legacy seventh followed by a single from Caldwell. With 2 outs, Gonzalez drove a pitch to deep center to give Legacy a 4-1 lead.<\/p>\n<p>Lake Ridge got back-to-back, 2-out singles in the bottom of the seventh followed by a 2-run double from North Carolina State commit Ryan Roberts. Julia Harper (North Carolina) was intentionally walked, becoming the game-winning run at first base, before Gonzalez, who also started in the circle, got a ground out to shortstop Lillie Gaudio, who\u2019s headed to LSU.<\/p>\n<p>LaRoche has big night for Martin in rout of Sam Houston<\/p>\n<p>Arlington Martin sophomore Alexa LaRoche had a night going 4 for 4 with 2 home runs, a double and a triple while knocking in 8 runs during the Warriors\u2019 17-2 win over Arlington Sam Houston in a District 8-6A game on Tuesday night.<\/p>\n<p>Sam Houston (8-14-1 overall, 4-9 district) took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first inning on a double by Daisy Armendariz. LaRoche smacked a 2-1 pitch to deep right for a 3-run home run in the bottom of the first. Her triple in the second pushed Martin\u2019s lead to 6-2.<\/p>\n<p>Martin (19-10-1, 11-2) added 7 runs in the third with LaRoche\u2019s 2-run double to center extended the margin to 12-2. LaRoche scored in the inning on an RBI double by Adrianna Correa, who drove in 4 runs.<\/p>\n<p>LaRoche hit a 2-run home run in the fourth.<\/p>\n<p>Grandview rolls by Rice led by Tarleton State commit<\/p>\n<p>Tarleton State commit K.J. Hubbard had a big night to lead Grandview past Rice 14-0 in a District 18-3A game on Monday night.<\/p>\n<p>Hubbard hit a grand slam in the top of the fourth inning that extended the Zebras\u2019 lead to 10-0. Taryn Jackson added a 2-run single in the frame to push the Grandview lead to 12-0.<\/p>\n<p>Hubbard finished with 6 RBIs and a pair of hits. S.J. Mann (Abilene Christian) went 3 for 4 with 1 triple and 2 RBIs. Kenna Collins added an RBI single in the first inning and a 1-out triple in the fifth.<\/p>\n<p>Hubbard pitched all 5 innings and allowed 4 hits with 7 strikeouts. Grandview is 25-2-1 overall, 9-0 in district and won its 63rd straight district game.<\/p>\n<p>Boyd rallies to clinch district title<\/p>\n<p>Down 4-1, Boyd erupted for 5 runs in the bottom of the fourth inning to go on and beat Ponder 10-4 to claim the District 10-3A title on Monday night.<\/p>\n<p>Boyd (27-2 overall, 11-0 district) won its 22nd straight game. Ponder (8-15, 3-8) took a 4-1 lead in the third inning on 2-run singles by Kami Thorson and Skylar Kysiak.<\/p>\n<p>Bella Tipton hit a 2-out double to center that drove in 2 runs and gave Boyd a 5-4 lead.
