Texas A&M<\/a>‘s bats stayed hot against Houston on Tuesday night, as the Aggies<\/a> secured a solid 10-2 win over the Cougars<\/a> in midweek action at Blue Bell Park.<\/p>\n Houston snatched a 2-0 lead in the first, but it was short-lived. Texas A&M freshman Jorian Wilson and Nico Partida mashed two-run homers in the second and third innings to take the lead. From there, the Aggie bullpen shut out the Cougars with eight scoreless innings to secure the eight-run win.<\/p>\n After being named to the Baseball America Week 9 National Team of the Week<\/a>, Gavin Grahovac also continued his dominance at the plate by solidifying his spot at No. 9 in program history for career home runs.<\/p>\n Next up, Texas A&M will travel to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for a conference series against the LSU Tigers. Game 1 is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT on Friday, and Game 2 is set for 7 p.m. CT on Saturday. The series finale between the Aggies and Tigers is on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT.
