\n\tElla Langley<\/a>\u2019s \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d logs a milestone 20th week at No. 1 on Billboard\u2019s Hot Country Songs<\/a> chart. The smash leads the April 18-dated list with 26.6 million official U.S. streams, 42.4 million in radio audience and 9,000 sold in the April 3-9 tracking week, according to Luminate.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe song\u2019s crossover strength continues as well, as it adds a sixth week<\/a> atop the all-genre Billboard Hot 100. Langley\u2019s much-anticipated sophomore album, Dandelion<\/a>, arrived April 10.<\/p>\n

\n\tWith 20 weeks at the summit, \u201cChoosin\u2019 Texas\u201d ties for the ninth-longest command since Hot Country Songs became the genre\u2019s main songs ranking in 1958. The run also cements its place further among the biggest hits by women: only Bebe Rexha and Florida Georgia Line\u2019s record 50-week No. 1 \u201cMeant To Be\u201d and Gabby Barrett\u2019s \u201cI Hope\u201d (27 weeks) have lasted longer in the lead, placing Langley\u2019s hit third all-time among female-led titles.<\/p>\n

\n\tNewcomer Stella Lefty makes her Billboard chart debut as \u201cBoston\u201d opens at No. 29 on Hot Country Songs, led by 3.3 million streams. The 23-year-old has built momentum<\/a> across streaming and short-form video platforms following the song\u2019s March release. Co-written with New England native Noah Kahan, among others, it also opens at No. 95 on the Hot 100, while Lefty enters Emerging Artists at No. 12.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe singer-songwriter from Chicago has been steadily developing an audience with earlier songs such as \u201cThinking \u2019bout You<\/a>\u201d and \u201cSlow Dancin\u2019<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n
