(Haley McLeod\/Community Impact)The background<\/p>\n<p>The biofiltration pond\u2019s completion is part of the second phase of an overall plan to create a 1.5-mile greenway stretching from Waterloo Park to Lady Bird Lake, according to Waterloo Greenway.<\/p>\n<p>The second phase of the plan, <a href=\"https:\/\/waterloogreenway.org\/future\/?tab=the-confluence\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Confluence<\/a>, is located at the southernmost point of Waterloo Greenway.
