AUSTIN, Texas \u2014 Two men have been arrested in connection with a February aggravated assault<\/a> at an east Austin bar, while police continue searching for a third suspect believed to have ties to the Houston area.<\/p>\n

The assault occurred around 1:19 a.m. Feb. 28 at the Lowdown Lounge, located at 1412 East Sixth St., according to the Austin Police Department. Officers responded to reports of a disturbance and found an adult male with head injuries. He was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.<\/p>\n

Investigators said three men assaulted three other men inside the bar in what police described as an unprovoked attack. One of the victims suffered serious bodily injury.<\/p>\n

Following the release of surveillance video<\/a>, detectives identified and arrested two suspects with the help of community tips, police said.<\/p>\n

Darion Deshon Dickson has been charged with aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, and Jamal Brooks has been charged with assault causing bodily injury, according to APD.<\/p>\n

Detectives are still working to identify a third suspect described as a Black male, approximately 6 feet 5 inches to 6 feet 6 inches tall, with a large build. He was last seen wearing a dark hoodie. Investigators believe he may have connections to the Houston area.<\/p>\n

Police said additional witnesses may have information about the incident and encouraged anyone with tips to come forward.<\/p>\n
