A 17-year-old boy is dead after a shooting near Weber Road and Tripoli Drive on April 15.<\/p>\n
No arrests had been made in the shooting as of April 15, according to a news release from the Corpus Christi Police Department.<\/p>\n
Police officers were dispatched to the area at 7:52 p.m., the news release said. They found the victim with a single gunshot wound and began administering first aid until medics arrived.<\/p>\n
Detectives determined a disturbance occurred and a weapon was produced. Multiple witnesses were transported to the Corpus Christi Police Department station to be interviewed.<\/p>\n
Crime: April 12 apartment burglar served two additional warrants<\/a><\/p>\n The teen victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.<\/p>\n Police said the shooting was an isolated incident and that the investigation is active and ongoing.<\/p>\n Anyone with information regarding the crime is encouraged to call the Criminal Investigation Division at 361-826-2840.
