Meanwhile, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.queensheadpubde.com\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Queen\u2019s Head Pub<\/a> is reportedly looking forward to a May opening.<\/p>\n<p>Patagonia, the clothing and gear store for sporty and outdoorsy customers, opened in 2021 and is expected to close on April 23 at 2626 Main St., according to D Magazine. The reasoning? <a href=\"https:\/\/lakewood.advocatemag.com\/deep-ellum-153-year-evolution\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Deep Ellum\u2019s ever-changing vibe<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cChanges in the surrounding neighborhood have made it difficult to maintain a long\u2011term, sustainable future for the location as the area has trended more toward restaurants and nightlife than retail foot traffic,\u201d spokesperson J.J. Huggins said to The Dallas Morning News. \u201cThis move comes after careful deliberation and consideration for our team.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Patagonia will reportedly continue working with wholesale partners and local environmental activists, according to\u00a0The Dallas Morning News.<\/p>\n<p>Around the corner at 2713 Elm St. is the incoming Queen\u2019s Head Pub, to be nestled among the likes of Trees, Armoury D.E. and Club Dada in the <a href=\"https:\/\/lakewood.advocatemag.com\/forme-pilates-brick-and-bones\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">former Brick &amp; Bones space<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is the second launch from Deep Ellum Collective, which is looking to open neighborhood-revitalizing hospitality concepts, according to CultureMap Dallas.<\/p>\n<p>The new pub\u2019s tagline is \u201clong live the local\u201d \u2014 an interesting choice for an English pub in Dallas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cQueen\u2019s Head Pub is what happens when a proper English pub puts down roots in Texas. Part London, part Deep Ellum, all neighborhood local,\u201d reads the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.queensheadpubde.com\/about\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">pub\u2019s about page on its website<\/a>. \u201cFull pints, hearty plates and the kind of friendly atmosphere you only get where people actually know each other\u2019s names. We\u2019re for after-work regulars, match-day diehards, first dates, old mates and anyone looking for a place that feels instantly familiar.
