The filing states the cuts will impact a range of roles, with the majority tied to warehouse operations, including forklift operators, supervisors and inventory-related positions.<\/p>\n<p>The company&#8217;s New Caney facility, located along Industrial Parkway, is not unionized and affected workers do not have bumping rights, meaning they cannot displace other employees based on seniority.<\/p>\n<p>Saddle Creek operates three locations in Texas, including the New Caney facility, its only site in the Greater Houston area. The other two are in Dallas and Fort Worth.<\/p>\n<p>The layoffs come as Saddle Creek has made similar workforce reductions elsewhere in recent months. In Alabama, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbs42.com\/news\/local\/saddle-creek-logistics-services-laying-off-over-150-people-in-central-alabama\/\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">the CBS affiliate reports<\/a> that more than 150 employees were laid off at one of the facilities in Bessemer.
