Parker Road, Suite 210, in Plano&#8217;s Willow Bend Market.<\/p>\n<p>Desperados celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2026. It has been a Dallas-area staple since 1976, when Jorge Levy opened the doors of his flagship location on Greenville Avenue.<\/p>\n<p>In 2025, the Levy family retired, and the restaurant is now owned by Iron Table Hospitality, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/dallas.culturemap.com\/news\/restaurants-bars\/desperados-mexican-plano\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Culture Map<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This 3,000-square-foot space joined the restaurant\u2019s other two locations: on Greenville Avenue in Dallas, and Campbell Road in Garland.<\/p>\n<p>Its menu ranges from the traditional queso bandito and Acapulco quesadillas to the signature Desperados puffy tacos, featuring a crispy flour tortilla.<\/p>\n<p>Desperados has been one of the most popular Tex-Mex restaurants in North Texas and at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/arts-entertainment\/state-fair\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">State Fair<\/a>, where it has had booths offering its dishes.
