The Arlington-based Founders Arena and the Austin-based Texas Venture Alliance have launched the Texas Innovation Operating System, calling it \u201ca vision for the state\u2019s rapidly growing innovation economy.\u201d The coordinated, statewide framework will feature signature events designed to connect all of Texas, and will be formally unveiled at the 3rd Annual Texas Venture Gala & Forum, May 26\u201327 at the Texas State Capitol and the JW Marriott in Austin.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Founders Arena ignites wealthtech innovation through its accelerator program, operated in collaboration with First Rate, Inc., SEI, the city of Arlington, and the Arlington Economic Development Corporation. Its fifth cohort of startups was announced in October<\/a>, featuring companies from Arlington, Plano, Atlanta, Denver, Toronto, and Dublin, Ireland.<\/p>\n The Texas Venture Alliance presents a suite of events and resources to the statewide innovation economy, including the bi-monthly\u00a0<\/a>Texas Venture Newsletter<\/a>, the Texas Venture Gala & Forum\u2014\u201dthe state\u2019s high-end, high-powered gathering of Texas investors and innovators\u201d\u2014and the Texas Venture Fest, a 3,000-person, 20-plus co-hosted event in 15-plus cities.<\/p>\n Seeing \u2018a growing alignment across Texas\u2019\u00a0<\/p>\n The Texas Innovation Operating System is tapping into what the partners call \u201ca growing alignment across Texas for a broader innovation community.\u201d The connected system aims to be a first step in what the partners describe as \u201cthe G20 of Texas Cities in Innovation\u201d\u2014promoting regional innovation as well as connecting into the broader statewide network.<\/p>\n Pamela Cytron, founder of The Founders Arena, said the state of Texas \u201cis cultivating its most significant startup surge, and this is the moment to support the foundation that will support it at scale.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cAs investment and interest in Texas continue to accelerate, the next five years will be essential in driving resources and networking opportunities for ambitious founders,\u201d she added in a statement. \u201c\u201dFrom Arlington, we\u2019ve been building the groundwork for this by creating trusted environments where founders, investors, customers, and community come together. This is about connecting what already exists across Texas into one system that delivers real outcomes at scale.\u201d<\/p>\n Arlington Mayor Jim Ross said his city is \u201cis uniquely positioned to serve as a central connector for innovation across the state of Texas.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019ve been intentional about creating an environment where founders, investors, and institutions can come together and build,\u201d he added. \u201cThe momentum we\u2019re seeing through The Founders Arena and this broader statewide effort is a clear signal that Texas is not just growing, it\u2019s organizing for long-term leadership in innovation.\u201d<\/p>\n Upcoming events<\/p>\n Six months after the upcoming Texas Venture Gala & Forum is Texas Venture Alliance\u2019s sister signature event, the 5th Annual Texas Venture Fest\u2014part of the weeklong TexasStartup & Tech Week from September 28th to Oct. 2nd, 2026.
