A San Antonio school bus was involved in a crash on the morning of Thursday, April 16, according to district officials.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It happened at around 6:45 am in the 14000 block of FM 1560 near Loop 1604, according to the San Antonio Fire Department.\u00a0This is located on the city\u2019s Far Northwest side, near Helotes.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Assistant Superintendent of Communications at the Northside Independent School District, Barry Perez, confirmed the incident to MySA, saying there were three elementary-aged students on board at the time.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe students and two drivers involved in the accident were all assessed on scene,\u201d Perez said. \u201cThere were no injuries.\u201d<\/p>\n

The students who were on the bus were released to their parents, he adds. The San Antonio Fire Department tells MySA that its preliminary note says a vehicle struck a school bus, that there were no injuries, and that\u00a0the call for service was cancelled.<\/p>\n
