Jim Davis, who rode in the same cycling group as Selinger, said the loss is especially difficult.<\/p>\n
He noted this is the second cyclist the group has lost in just one month.<\/p>\n
\u201cSo for us to lose 2 people in the span of a month is crushing,\u201d Davis said.<\/p>\n
Davis and others hope the tragedy leads to safer habits for drivers sharing the road with cyclists.<\/p>\n
For Selinger\u2019s family, the focus now is on grief and the sudden loss of a loved one.<\/p>\n
