A 24-year-old man has been charged with murder after the mother of his unborn child was found dead Thursday, according to the Houston Police Department.<\/p>\n
Authorities filed the murder charge Thursday against Kevin Faux, whom police were still searching for.<\/p>\n
Investigators and Texas EquuSearch discovered a body at 11655 Chimney Rock Road on Thursday around 9 a.m. while searching for a missing person.<\/p>\n
“During the continuous week-long search for Ashanti Allen, Texas EquuSearch a member located a deceased person this morning,”\u00a0Texas EquuSearch said in a social media update Thursday. “Although Identification is pending, it is thought to be missing pregnant woman, Ashanti and her unborn child, Jackson.”<\/p>\n
Allen was eight months pregnant and was last seen April 10, per Texas EquuSearch.<\/p>\n
