Anyone paying attention to the North Texas food scene may have noticed the recent wave of Mediterranean restaurants popping up across the region.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For those\u00a0who love Mediterranean food, the surge of these restaurants is a big deal. Here\u2019s what you need to know about the spots serving Dallas-Fort Worth\u2019s hottest cuisine.<\/p>\n

Aba<\/p>\n
Aba, from Chicago<\/a>, is bringing its second Texas location to Dallas\u2019 Design District. The restaurant\u2019s first location in the state is in Austin.\u00a0<\/p>\n Aba\u2019s menu is full of shareable dishes with ample vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options. Corsaire is the Mediterranean restaurant that will replace it. Corsaire comes from the owners of Goodwins, another Lower Greenville restaurant.<\/p>\n Foxcroft Studio<\/p>\n Meraki\u00a0\n<\/p>\n Prolific restaurateur Tim Love recently opened Meraki, his 20th restaurant concept, in Fort Worth. The News called it one of the most exciting new restaurants to open <\/a>in North Texas this year.<\/p>\n Article continues below this ad<\/p>\n Meraki was inspired by Love\u2019s travels<\/a> to Saint Barth\u00e9lemy, Greece, Spain and Italy. The menu has some Turkish and Lebanese influences, too. If you close your eyes at Meraki, you might feel like you\u2019re at a hotel resort from The White Lotus.<\/p>\n Soon, Meraki will offer tasting menus at lunch: $49 for three courses. And a dinner tasting recently launched: $128 for seven courses.<\/p>\n Hours: Open six days a week for lunch and dinner. Sunday hours are 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations recommended. Similar to other Mediterranean spots, this spot will have bright dishes like hummus, baba ghanoush, falafel, zucchini chips, Greek salads, kofta skewers and a selection of roasted veggies.\u00a0<\/p>\n
