Two men died and a firefighter was hospitalized after a car crash near downtown Fort Worth late Thursday morning, police said.<\/p>\n

Officers and fire crews responded to the scene of the crash near 1940 Delga St. at around 11:28 a.m., according to a statement.<\/p>\n

There, officers found that a moving car had struck a parked vehicle and continued a short distance before stopping. A passenger in the moving car was found dead; the driver died at the scene, police said.<\/p>\n

During the investigation, fire crews found a \u201clarge amount of an unknown chemical\u201d inside the vehicle that had been moving. One firefighter was taken to a hospital to be treated for possible exposure to the chemical, according to the statement.<\/p>\n

Detectives with the department\u2019s Traffic Investigations Unit are investigating. The Tarrant County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office will identify the victims and determine the cause of death.<\/p>\n
