A Texas<\/a> woman has been accused of running a $1,000 a session prostitution ring with her husband that catered to local police officers.\u200b<\/p>\n

Ashley Ketcherside was arrested on Tuesday on a racketeering charge in Johnson County<\/a>, 29 miles south of Fort Worth<\/a>. Her husband, Michael Ketcherside, was arrested earlier this month in connection with the alleged scheme.\u200b<\/p>\n

Officers earlier searched the Ketchersides\u2019 home on March 31, where law enforcement <\/a>officers uncovered evidence of the \u201congoing prostitution conspiracy\u201d which allegedly unfolded over the past five years, according to prosecutors. \u200b<\/p>\n

Additional evidence recovered by authorities suggested that the Godley Police Department, under then-Chief Matthew Cantrell, conspired with the couple to gather information on private citizens and public officials whom they believed were adversaries. \u200b<\/p>\n

Officials named in the documents include members of the local city council, the former mayor of Godley, the former chief of police and members of the Godley Independent School Board. <\/p>\n

\u200bAccording to a criminal complaint and arrest affidavit obtained by NBC 5<\/a>, Cantrell solicited a \u201cboyfriend\u201d for his wife from the couple. \u200b<\/p>\n

In the documents, former officer Solomon Omotoya was also accused of soliciting Ashley Ketcherside for sex in exchange for yard work or babysitting<\/a>.\u200b<\/p>\n

Jason Buchanan, a spokesperson for the Johnson and Somervell Counties District Attorney\u2019s Office, told Oxygen.com <\/a>that Cantrell had been arrested on charges of promoting prostitution. \u200b<\/p>\n

Omotoya had been booked on charges of soliciting prostitution. <\/p>\n

\u200bMichael Ketcherside was arrested on April 2 on a charge of continuous promotion of prostitution, according to jail records. On April 14, he was handed an additional charge of racketeering. \u200b<\/p>\n

According to court documents obtained by Fox 4<\/a>, Godley police officers and their spouses would spend time at the Ketcherside residence, where Ashley Ketcherside was allegedly preparing another woman for prostitution.<\/p>\n

\u200bCantrell told investigators that Ashley Ketcherside\u2019s rate for sex was $1,000 per hour.\u200b<\/p>\n

The documents also revealed that police obtained a list of alleged clients from a burner phone<\/a> belonging to Ashley Ketcherside at her residence.\u200b<\/p>\n

Prior to her arrest, she defended her husband in an interview with the station<\/a>.\u200b<\/p>\n

\u201cHe\u2019s a great husband, an amazing father to my three kids, and I believe in the justice system,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m absolutely no victim of my husband or anybody else.\u201d<\/p>\n

In 2023, Ashley Ketcherside was removed from multiple positions within the Godley Independent School District after being convicted of solicitation<\/a>. \u200b<\/p>\n

Kayla Lain, who was a school board trustee at the time, told Fox 4 <\/a>that she had been made aware of Ashley Ketcherside\u2019s convictions by the non-profit group Families Engaged for Effective Education.\u200b<\/p>\n

Ashley Ketcherside was serving on a council that recommended \u201cappropriate grade levels and methods for human sexuality instruction,\u201d according to documents obtained by the network.\u200b<\/p>\n

\u201cWe had no idea what was going on in her personal life,\u201d Lain said. \u201cShe was always very friendly and personable.\u201d<\/p>\n
