HOUSTON \u2014 One woman is dead and another person is injured after a shooting Saturday afternoon in the Willowbend area of southwest Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.<\/p>\n
HPD received a call at 3:57 p.m. reporting the shooting along Fondren Road, near Braeswood Boulevard. Dispatch reports that the woman was shot by another, while a second person is reported to have shot themselves. HPD Homicide has confirmed one woman died at the scene.<\/p>\n
Homicide investigators were called to the scene, which remained active as of the initial report. There is a shopping center at the address of the shooting scene.<\/p>\n
No additional information on the victims, including ages or identities, has been released.<\/p>\n
