San Antonians who have grown tired of chicken on a stick during Fiesta will have another option for chicken starting this week.<\/p>\n

Bojangles, the southern chain famous for its fried chicken and biscuits, is opening its second San Antonio location<\/a> on the city’s Southwest Side this week. The restaurant, located at 3003 SW Military Drive near Somerset Road, will open on Tuesday.<\/p>\n

The first 25 people who arrive when the restaurant opens on opening day will get a $25 Bojangles gift card and a swag bag. Another ten customers who make a purchase throughout the day will get free Bojangles breakfast for a year.<\/p>\n

The chain, which started in North Carolina in 1977, is known for its fried chicken sandwiches, buttery biscuits and Southern-inspired sides, like pimento cheese, dirty rice and macaroni & cheese. Not to mention the Bo-Tatos, the chain’s fried potatoes in disc-like form.<\/p>\n

Bojangles opened its first Alamo City location on Potranco Road in 2023<\/a> as part of a push to expand across the Lone Star State.<\/p>\n

Bojangles has more than 850 locations nationwide.<\/p>\n
