A Red Flag Warning remains in effect from noon until 9 p.m. Friday. Relative humidity is expected to dip as low as 6 percent by afternoon, further elevating fire danger.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"KCBD\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/BLIS2SYSL5G6DP7V55OX7OR4BM.PNG\" width=\"980\" height=\"518\" \/>KCBD(KCBD)Cold Front Arrives Friday Evening<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The cold front is expected to reach the Texas Panhandle near sunset Friday and move southward through the evening hours. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"KCBD\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/P7M4PSRRW5BWLDIJWE7IXO4RTA.PNG\" width=\"980\" height=\"602\" \/>KCBD(KCBD)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The primary impact will be a period of strong north winds Friday night into overnight Saturday, with sustained speeds of 30 to 40 mph possible. Temperatures will gradually warm into the 60s and 70s Saturday afternoon under mostly clear skies.<\/p>\n<p>Freeze Possible Early Sunday<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Strong cold advection behind the front will bring a rapid drop in temperatures through the night.
