{"id":256782,"date":"2026-04-19T11:54:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-19T11:54:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/256782\/"},"modified":"2026-04-19T11:54:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-19T11:54:10","slug":"st-philips-college-joins-fiesta-with-31st-annual-culturefest","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/256782\/","title":{"rendered":"St. Philip&#8217;s College joins Fiesta with 31st annual CultureFest"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>St. Philip\u2019s College is preparing to host its <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alamo.edu\/spc\/experience-spc\/community\/arts-and-culture\/culturefest\/\" type=\"link\" id=\"https:\/\/www.alamo.edu\/spc\/experience-spc\/community\/arts-and-culture\/culturefest\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">31st annual CultureFest and Rib Cook-Off<\/a>, the only official Fiesta event located in the East Side of San Antonio.<\/p>\n<p>The family-friendly event takes place on Thursday, April 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at St. Philip\u2019s MLK campus, located at 1801 Martin Luther King Drive, with all proceeds going to support scholarship funds, according to college officials. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is a high-energy and kid-friendly festival featuring a rib cook-off, live music, a car show, food and non-food vendors, and several grill raffles, all in one location,\u201d according to the online event page.<\/p>\n<p>These competitions include the traditional rib cook-off, a dessert bake-off, and a beverage competition.
