We hope to see y’all out there with us.”

Replies, comments and videos posted on social media showed festival goers experiences in real time, and had them asking why the shows on day one weren’t outright canceled to begin with. Some attendees were asking how to get stuff they left behind, while others asked if they were going to get refunds, as some paid up to $900 to be VIPs at the event. Others were left asking why the event was listed as “rain or shine” if it was going to get canceled.

Some folks in Instagram comments also had a bone to pick with this same event having issues with rain in previous years. “Every single year the weather sucks. Do it in Feb march or may,” one Instagram user said. “4th year in a row that y’all have had weather issues. Change the dates. Refund or reschedule,” another said. “Three years in a row and yall KNEW it was gonna pour this weekend but still had ZERO contingency plan, awful communication plans, and how do you not have more temporary shelters set up in preparation,” another comments on Instagram said. “Absolutely horrific festival planning once again, and we all know you’ll do nothing to rectify this with the consumers who spent hundreds of dollars to be here. Smh.”

MySA has reached out to the festival for further comment, and has not yet heard back.

The festival’s social media does say Sunday’s show, featuring headliner Chris Stapleton, The Red Clay Strays, Tedeschi Trucks Band, Randy Travis, Randy Rogers Band, Clay Walker and more, is still scheduled as normal.

A severe weather event in Georgetown forced the Two Step Inn Country Music Festival to cancel night one’s…

[8
2107,847,820,82,84,83
0":"post-257001","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-san-antonio","8":"tag-mysaentertainment","9":"tag-mysanews","10":"tag-mysastaff","11":"tag-san-antonio","12":"tag-san-antonio-headlines","13":"tag-san-antonio-news
["GET
