The Croatian international striker scored twice in Saturday\u2019s 2-2 home draw<\/a> with the LA Galaxy<\/a>, continuing his red-hot form to reach nine goals on the season for the MLS Golden Boot presented by Audi lead.<\/p>\n

Musa, who is two goals clear of Inter Miami CF<\/a>\u2019s Lionel Messi<\/a> and Nashville SC<\/a>\u2019s Sam Surridge<\/a> atop the leaderboard, keeps on strengthening his case for a spot on Croatia\u2019s 26-man roster at this summer\u2019s 2026 FIFA World Cup<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\n World Cup chase<\/p>\n

A little less than two months before Croatia\u2019s Group L debut against England in Dallas,\u00a0Musa looked as World Cup-ready as ever 30 miles to the north in Frisco \u2013 getting an early opening goal before completing the brace in the 38th minute.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The Galaxy rallied and left Toyota Stadium with a point thanks to strikes from Lucas Sanabria<\/a> and Joseph Paintsil<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

However, Musa\u2019s brace further boosted his international profile as Croatia head coach Zlatko Dali\u0107 weighs his options in attack ahead of this summer’s tournament in the United States, Mexico and Canada.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It also extended his club’s regular-season unbeaten streak at Toyota Stadium to 11 matches (6W-0L-5D), helping keep Dallas in seventh place in the Western Conference.\u00a0<\/p>\n
