SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A man is in critical condition after a shooting on the city\u2019s south side, with police searching for a suspect who fled the scene in a dark-colored vehicle.<\/p>\n
The incident occurred early Sunday around 1:53 a.m. in the 3100 block of Southcross Boulevard. <\/p>\n
SAPD was initially dispatched to a local hospital after receiving a report of a gunshot victim. Upon arrival, however, police learned the shooting took place at the aforementioned location. A witness was allegedly dropping off the victim of this incident when gunfire erupted as he exited the car. Both the man and the vehicle were struck by bullets.<\/p>\n
The witness reported seeing a dark-colored Dodge Charger drive away from the area right after the shooting. No suspect description has been released.<\/p>\n
