{"id":258223,"date":"2026-04-20T18:36:15","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T18:36:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/258223\/"},"modified":"2026-04-20T18:36:15","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T18:36:15","slug":"man-arrested-after-2-year-old-tests-positive-for-thc-at-midland-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/258223\/","title":{"rendered":"Man arrested after 2-year-old tests positive for THC at Midland hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text | article-text\">MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) &#8211; A man was arrested after a 2-year-old child tested positive for THC and was flown to Lubbock for treatment.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to an affidavit, a Midland police officer was called to Midland Memorial Hospital on April 19 at around 2:37 p.m. about a 2-year-old child that tested positive for THC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">When the officer arrived, the mother of the child said she had no idea how the child would have had THC in its system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">After further investigation, the officer found Keyber Enrique Reyes-Sandrea, who confessed to leaving a THC vape in reach of the child that consumed the THC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The affidavit said Sandrea discarded the vape after the child became ill from consuming the THC.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The child was flown to Lubbock for further care due to the overdose of THC in its system.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Sandrea was arrested for reckless injury to a child causing bodily injury.
