According to the traffic monitoring site SigAlert, the crash occurred on Highway 183 South at the McNeil Drive and Spicewood Springs Road.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) cameras showed traffic was backed up to Anderson Mill Road and emergency personnel was on the scene. The three right lanes were blocked and SigAlert reports traffic was stopped as recently as 3:40 p.m.\u00a0The crash was reported on SigAlert at 3:31 p.m.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Those attempting to travel south on 183 can use Lake Creek Parkway as an alternate\u00a0route around the crash if traffic is still backed up.<\/p>\n<p>The weather has made for hazardous conditions with another 80\u00a0percent chance of rain expected this afternoon and evening in the Austin area.
