{"id":258571,"date":"2026-04-20T23:14:13","date_gmt":"2026-04-20T23:14:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/258571\/"},"modified":"2026-04-20T23:14:13","modified_gmt":"2026-04-20T23:14:13","slug":"alleged-dallas-gang-members-charged-in-meth-trafficking-case-nbc-5-dallas-fort-worth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/258571\/","title":{"rendered":"Alleged Dallas gang members charged in meth trafficking case \u2013 NBC 5 Dallas-Fort Worth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Four members of a Dallas-area street gang are facing federal charges for their role in trafficking methamphetamine, according to United States Attorney for the Northern District of Texas Ryan Raybould.<\/p>\n<p>According to a release shared by the U.S. Attorney&#8217;s office, Ventrous Deshun James, Joseph Lewis Morgan, Dionyuta Henry, and David Beaty were charged on April 14, 2026, with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine.<\/p>\n<p>The release states the arrests are the result of a months-long investigation targeting members of the \u201c007 Bonton Bloods\u201d gang. Three of the weapons included machine gun conversion devices <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcdfw.com\/news\/local\/shootout-with-dallas-murder-suspect-renews-focus-on-illegal-glock-switches\/3393818\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">commonly referred to as &#8220;switches.&#8221;<\/a> <\/p>\n<p>These devices can modify a handgun into an automatic weapon.
