Officers were dispatched shortly after 6\u00a0p.m. Thursday\u00a0to Dodd Park, located in the 1500 block of Selma Lane, where they found 17-year-old Ty\u2019Ron Kuria in a field with multiple gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n
Kuria was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said in a news release.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
Two men, both Anna residents, were taken into custody Monday, according to police. They were booked into the\u00a0Wylie jail, each on a charge of capital murder.\u00a0<\/p>\n
According to the release, the arrests were the result of a coordinated effort with neighboring police departments, SWAT and the U.S. Marshals Service.\u00a0<\/p>\n
