EL PASO, Texas (KFOX14) \u2014 UPDATE: An El Paso Fire Department spokesman said the fire was caused by arson and the investigation continues.<\/p>\n
A large fire was reported in south-central El Paso Saturday night.<\/p>\n
The El Paso Fire Department responded to a large fire on 1314 Magoffin around 8 p.m.<\/p>\n
El Paso fire officials said the fire has since been updated to a condition 4. <\/p>\n
That condition determines the severity of the fire’s response, with condition 4 being the highest. <\/p>\n
It’s unknown if any injuries have been reported.<\/p>\n
Officials said around 9:42 p.m. that the fire was under control.<\/p>\n
El Paso Fire says that over 50 Firefighters responded to the scene.<\/p>\n
As well a Sun Metro Bus is being provided to residents that were affected, for the purpose of cooling and allowing a space to hydrate. <\/p>\n
As of 10:12 p.m. crews are continuing to cool hotspots.<\/p>\n
