Corpus Christi police have reported an arrest related to an April 18 killing on the Westside, though the investigation remains ongoing.<\/p>\n
At 8 p.m. April 18, Corpus Christi Police Department officers responded to a fight with injuries at the 3600 block of Mimosa Drive, according to an online post by the department. There, Corpus Christi Fire Department medics were administering CPR to a male victim, who was taken to a local hospital and later died of his injuries.<\/p>\n
After detaining and interviewing several people who were at the scene, detectives identified Justice Martinez, 28, as the offender and secured an arrest warrant for murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, the police department post said.<\/p>\n

He was interviewed and transported to the City Detention Center.<\/p>\n The investigation is still ongoing.
