But he\u2019s emerged as its musical ambassador.<\/p>\n<p>This month, the Grammy-winning soul singer appeared in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=A5dl6LSBCBk\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a short promo video for Visit Fort Worth<\/a> exploring \u201cmy Fort Worth vibe\u201d: a visit to Trinity Park \u201cto chill and enjoy nature,\u201d a nosh at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/food\/restaurant-news\/2025\/05\/14\/5-favorite-classic-burger-joints-in-dallas-fort-worth\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kincaid\u2019s Hamburgers<\/a> (his fave: a bacon cheeseburger with extra pickles), a game of pool at The Down N\u2019 Out bar, a drink at the Bowie House hotel lobby bar and a trip to Chieffalo Americana, a Western boutique with \u201cgreat cowboy hats to get me red carpet-ready.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For his last album, 2024\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/arts-entertainment\/music\/2024\/10\/03\/leon-bridges-gets-personal-in-new-self-titled-album\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Leon<\/a>, he filmed part of one video downtown and another at Record Town. In 2021, the low-key singer told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dallasnews.com\/arts-entertainment\/music\/2021\/07\/23\/leon-bridges-reckons-with-stardom-finding-an-authentic-sound-on-his-third-album\/\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The Dallas Morning News<\/a> his hometown was a salve for the stress of fame.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;m grateful to have the support of the community, which has really helped make my life a little easier in the midst of all of this,&#8221; he said. &#8220;I plan on staying put in Fort Worth for the long-term.&#8221;\u00a0<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Leon Bridges isn\u2019t the official spokesperson for Fort Worth.
