CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 The Corpus Christi City Council is holding a special workshop on Tuesday at 10 a.m. to review key drought-related issues impacting the city.<\/p>\n
According to a public notice, the meeting is strictly informational. No action will be taken, and no public comment will be allowed.<\/p>\n
According to the agenda, the workshop will focus on the city\u2019s approved Drought Contingency Plan, with discussions centered on water supply and demand, drought stages, and potential policy adjustments.<\/p>\n
Council members are expected to receive updates on current water supply and demand scenarios, along with recommendations on baseline water use by customer type, including multi-family housing.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Additional topics include proposed water use curtailment percentages, allocation by customer class, and possible drought-related surcharge fees.<\/p>\n
