Keith Self hosts fourth annual Congressional Art Competition"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The winners will be recognized at an annual awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., where works are displayed for one year at the U.S. Capitol.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#13;<\/p>\n<p>Rep. <a href=\"https:\/\/planomagazine.com\/rep-self-rename-highway-75\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Keith Self\u2019s<\/a> office hosted its fourth-annual <a href=\"https:\/\/keithself.house.gov\/services\/art-competition\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Congressional Art Competition<\/a> recently, where 68 high school students from across District 3.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s judges included Brandon Adams from Greenville, Wendy McIntyre from Allen and Jennifer Seibert from Plano.<\/p>\n<p>Seibert is a professor of art at Collin College and will have an exhibition at the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.artcentreofplano.org\/events-exhibitions\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\"> ArtCentre of Plano<\/a> from Saturday, May 9 to\u00a0 Saturday, June 27.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m incredibly impressed by the talent and creativity of our students in Texas District 3. The Congressional Art Competition is a highlight my team and I look forward to every year,\u201d Self said. \u201cCongratulations to all participants, and thank you to the students, teachers, parents, and judges who made this possible.
