Election Information: May 2, 2026 Election Day is Saturday, May 2, 2026. Early voting runs from Monday, April 20, through Tuesday, April 28. See all races by county: Collin<\/a>, Dallas<\/a>, Denton<\/a>, Tarrant<\/a>Polls are open on Election Day from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. If you’re in line at 7 p.m., you will be allowed to vote.Most North Texas counties will be taking part in the Countywide Polling Place Program, meaning you can vote at any polling place in the county during early voting and on election day. Check the county list below to make sure your county is taking part in the CPPP program. <\/p>\n

The city of Saginaw is proposing a $59 million bond package in May to fund street improvements, park enhancements and a new animal control facility.<\/p>\n

The bond proposal includes three propositions, A-C. Each proposition has a different budget and targets different areas of need throughout Saginaw. Voters can approve or disapprove of any or all of the propositions.<\/p>\n

Saginaw Proposition A: Street Improvements<\/p>\n

Total: $38 million<\/p>\n

Street reconstruction: Priority to E. McLeroy Blvd and Industrial Avenue<\/p>\n

Concrete, curb and gutter storm drainage<\/p>\n

Sidewalks and neighborhood streets after E. McLeroy and Industrial<\/p>\n

Saginaw Proposition B: Park Improvements<\/p>\n

Total: $6 million<\/p>\n

Renovating playgrounds to meet accessibility requirements; priority given to William Houston, Willow Creek and Sagewood Parks<\/p>\n

Equipping playgrounds with shade structures<\/p>\n

Upgrade existing restrooms<\/p>\n

Saginaw Proposition C: Animal Control Facility<\/p>\n

Total: $15 million<\/p>\n

Construction of a new Animal Control Shelter Facility to be located near the corner of Minton Rd and Defiel Rd<\/p>\n

Approx 10k square feet (twice the size of the current facility)<\/p>\n

Total includes: design, site preparation, utilities, pavement, and furniture, fixtures and equipment (FFE)<\/p>\n

Election Day is May 2. Early voting begins Monday, April 20 and runs through Tuesday, April 28.
