It’s going to be a big weekend in Lubbock as George Strait is set to perform two shows in at Jones AT&T Stadium. And if you haven’t noticed yet, there will be extra police unites in and around the Lubbock area\u00a0throughout\u00a0the weekend<\/p>\n
According to KAMC<\/a>, the Texas Department of Public Safety has already increased their numbers in Lubbock. Their goal? To keep everyone safe.<\/p>\n DPS officials confirmed an increased presence for the upcoming George Strait concerts on Friday and Saturday.<\/p>\n DPS Sergeant Adrian Briseno stated, \u201c\u2026We want everyone to have fun, but most importantly to be safe.\u201d<\/p>\n Good for Texas sending some extra help to Lubbock this weekend.
