Firefighters say everyone made it out safely as flames spread into the attic and part of the roof collapsed.<\/p>\n
SAN ANTONIO \u2014 A duplex on San Antonio\u2019s south side suffered severe damage after a late-night fire Tuesday.<\/p>\n
According to the San Antonio Fire Department, crews were called around 9:22 p.m. to the 100 block of East Theo Avenue.<\/p>\n
Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames coming from the duplex.<\/p>\n
Officials say the layout of the building made the fire more difficult to fight. Crews say flames spread into the attic, and part of the roof later collapsed.<\/p>\n
Everyone inside got out safely, and no injuries were reported.<\/p>\n
Fire officials noted there was also a fire at the same property within the last year.<\/p>\n
San Antonio Fire Department Arson Unit responded to help determine what caused the blaze.<\/p>\n
