Corpus Christi police have arrested a man in connection with a shooting that left a 17-year-old dead earlier this month on the city\u2019s north side.<\/p>\n
Police say robbery and homicide detectives identified the suspect in the April 15 shooting near Weber Road and Tripoli Street, where the teen was shot and killed.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday at about 11 p.m., the Corpus Christi Gang Unit and U.S. Marshals Service located and arrested the suspect, identified as Jusiah Ortiz, near Columbia Street and Bloomington Street.<\/p>\n
Police say Ortiz was taken in for questioning and later booked into the City Detention Center on a murder warrant.<\/p>\n
