CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 Authorities have arrested a suspect in connection with a shooting that occurred on April 15, 2026, at the intersection of Weber Road and Tripoli Street.<\/p>\n
On April 21, 2026, at 11:00 p.m., the Corpus Christi Gang Unit, in collaboration with the United States Marshal Service, located and apprehended Jusiah Ortiz near Columbia Street and Bloomington Street, according to a press release from the Corpus Christi Police Department. Ortiz was taken to the main police station for questioning before being transported to the City Detention Center, where he was booked on a murder warrant.
