Roaches were found at two Plano restaurants and 12 others had low scores in the most recent round of city health inspections, the report shows.<\/p>\n
The report compiled by the Star-Telegram contains data from March 29 through April 11 and 229 inspections.<\/p>\n
Plano\u2019s city health inspections function on a 100-point system: a score of 100 is considered perfect and a score of 70 is considered to be extremely poor. Each establishment receives between one and four routine inspections per year.<\/p>\n

Twelve food establishments scored below 80 in this round of inspections:<\/p>\n
Shaahi Biryani, located at 3421 East Renner Road in Plano, had a score of 68.<\/p>\n
Ebb And Flow, located at 7300 Lone Star Drive, had a score of 70.<\/p>\n
Fish N Tails Oyster Bar, located at 1320 North Central Expressway, had a score of 72.<\/p>\n
The Dream Tacos, located at 8245 Preston Road, had a score of 73.<\/p>\n
Jimmy\u2019s Burger Catering, located at 3309 North Central Expressway, had a score of 74.<\/p>\n
Roma Italian Bistro, located at 1405 Jupiter Road, had a score of 74.<\/p>\n
El Pueblito, located at 901 West Spring Creek Parkway, had a score of 75.<\/p>\n
New Orleans Crab Shack, located at 901 West Spring Creek Parkway, had a score of 76.<\/p>\n
Taco Cabana #286, located at 1101 East Spring Creek Parkway, had a score of 77.<\/p>\n
Mama Vicky\u2019s Pupusas Y Mas, located at 1112 East 15th St., had a score of 79.<\/p>\n
Minerva Banquet Hall & Catering, located at 3825 West Spring Creek Parkway, had a score of 79.<\/p>\n
Zhang\u2019s Kitchen, located at 3948 Legacy Drive, had a score of 79.<\/p>\n
Two restaurants were found to have issues with roaches:<\/p>\n
Jimmy\u2019s Burger Catering, located at 3309 North Central Expressway, had a score of 74. Inspectors observed two small \u201croach-like\u201d insects in a back water heater room.<\/p>\n
Minerva Banquet Hall & Catering, located at 3825 West Spring Creek Parkway, had a score of 79. Inspectors observed three roaches in the kitchen above sinks and near the dish machine.<\/p>\n
