CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 Police are searching for a suspect after a man allegedly stabbed an animal to death on Fort Worth Street.<\/p>\n
Officers from the Corpus Christi Police Department responded to a suspicious person call on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, at 3:24 p.m., according to a press release from the department. Upon arrival, they were informed that a male subject had produced a knife and used it to injure an animal, which later succumbed to its injuries. The suspect then fled the area on foot towards Hamlin Drive and Staples Street.<\/p>\n
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male with brown hair, full sleeve tattoos on both arms, and tattoos on his neck. He was last seen wearing black pants and a blue shirt.<\/p>\n
The Corpus Christi Police Department emphasized that they take all incidents of animal cruelty seriously. Detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division are actively investigating the incident, and officers on patrol are searching for the suspect.<\/p>\n
